Golf Course Maintenance Program

THERE ARE ENOUGH HAZARDS ON THE GOLF COURSE WITHOUT ADDING POLLUTED AND DIRTY WATER HAZARDS, LAKES AND STREAMS. CLEAR AND CLEAN TURNS THOSE ECOLOGICAL DISASTERS INTO THE "CLEAR and CLEAN" WATER THAT WILL ADD BEAUTY TO YOUR GOLF COURSE!!!

BENEFITS OF CLEAR and CLEAN

INCREASES VISIBILITY THROUGH THE WATER
BEAUTIFIES THE WATER’S APPEARANCE
ELIMINATES FOUL ODORS
STOPS THE POLLUTION

THE ARTIFICIAL LAKES OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Southern California is abundant with artificial lakes that were created to appeal to our love affair with water. Every new housing project’s builder designs-in liquid landscaping to enhance the beauty of the landscape. From the backyard pond to the multi-acre lake, liquid landscaping is used to market an otherwise bland landscape. Maintenance of these water notions is passed on to the home owner, or the association of home owners, to manage. Usually, management of this water is accomplished through the addition of harsh chemicals, in large quantities, to the water.

Additionally, golf courses are booming. There are water hazards and lakes at every respectable golf course, and each requires maintenance that was unexpected at the time the course was built. Grounds keepers are trained at keeping the grass green and trimmed at the right lengths. Unfortunately, keeping the grass green can cause major problems within the lakes and ponds.

Flood control channels do a marvelous job in the rainy season, but stagnate pools of water form during the dry season. These channels provide a pseudo-natural environment for water fowl, reptiles and small mammals. They are also overcome by algae, trash, and street runoff.

HERE’S THE PROBLEM
When the water we love begins to look and smell bad, the water is no longer a liquid landscape, but is an ugly, unhealthy breeding ground for the undesirable creatures of life. The ecological balance is disturbed. What was once beautiful, develops into an eyesore. There are few people and/or businesses in the world that specialize in cleaning up these artificial lakes and ponds.

Homeowner lakes and ponds are chemically unbalanced and devoid of life.
Golf course lakes have fertilizer runoff, bird & duck droppings, and trash, changing the lake’s chemistry.
Flood control channels smell bad and become a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

WHAT’S THE SOLUTION
"It ain’t an easy answer". Each body of water has it’s own set of problems and, as such, there is no single cure that has been defined. If there was a miracle in a can, you would already be using it. Pure One Environmental Products believes that they have come as close as humanly possible to developing a "cure in a can", but even this product needs to be combined with ecological treatment to be effective. There are steps that must be taken before treatment can be effective.

Chemical analysis of the water.
Determination of the steps to be taken.
Performance of restoration.
Treatment of water.
Return of the ecological balance.
Continued treatment and water analysis as a part of routine maintenance.

There is an answer and the treatment may not cost as much as you think. Read on for all of the details.

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the Clear and Clean System?
The Clear and Clean System is a combination of proper ecological management of the artificial lakes, streams and stagnate water, along with the scheduled addition of Pure One Environmental Product’s Clear and Clean additive, combined with the use of the Pure Green line of soil conditioners.

Is the Clear and Clean additive a harsh chemical?
No! The additive is a biological composition that helps nature do it’s job. It is non-toxic and biodegradable, safe to humans, pets, and the environment.

What is Pure Green?
It is a natural bio-catalytic agent and is an effective, safe and economical builder, conditioner/reconditioner of soil of any composition. Pure Green is designed specifically for golf courses, lawns, landscaping, and extensive agricultural applications.

Will my pond need to be drained and refilled?
In most cases, No. A chemical analysis of your lake will be performed and from that analysis, a treatment will be established. You will be a part of the decision of how drastic the steps are to make your lake well. There may be some draining of water, in order to effectively stabilize the chemical balance at a point that will be ecologically sound. This is not a drain, clean, refill, and forget about it service.

Is this treatment expensive?
Compared to the temporary fix of drain, clean and refill, The Clear and Clean System is less expensive to perform and, with proper maintenance, will last forever.
